  • Abstract:
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools have emerged as transformative technologies in education, offering innovative opportunities for personalized learning, instant feedback, content generation, and academic support. The increasing use of AI applications among student teachers has created new possibilities for enhancing learning engagement and improving educational experiences. The present study investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence tools in promoting learning engagement among student teachers. The study employed a normative survey method and collected data from student teachers enrolled in Colleges of Education. Standardized scales were used to measure the extent of AI tool usage and learning engagement. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The findings revealed that student teachers exhibited moderate to high levels of AI tool usage and learning engagement. A significant positive relationship was found between the use of Artificial Intelligence tools and learning engagement, indicating that effective utilization of AI technologies contributes to increased participation, motivation, and involvement in academic activities. The study highlights the importance of integrating AI-based educational tools into teacher education programs to foster active learning and prepare future teachers for technology-enhanced educational environments.
