abstract = {In today’s world, smart technology plays an important role in reducing electricity wastage and improving user convenience. The IoT Based Smart Lighting and Electrical Monitoring System is developed to provide an easy and efficient way to control electrical appliances and monitor electrical conditions through the internet. This project allows users to switch lights and other devices ON or OFF remotely using a mobile application. The system is built using Node MCU ESP 8266, relay modules, sensors, LCD display, LED lights, and a DC motor. The Node MCU connects the project to Wi-Fi and enables communication between the hardware and the mobile application. The relay module controls electrical appliances, while the monitoring section checks electrical parameters and displays system status in real time. This project helps in saving energy by avoiding unnecessary power usage and also improves electrical safety through continuous monitoring. It reduces manual effort and provides better control over electrical devices from anywhere. The system is simple, cost-effective, and suitable for smart homes, offices, and small industrial applications. Overall, the project demonstrates how IoT technology can be used to create a smarter, safer, and more energy-efficient environment.},
