abstract = {Educational institutions generate vast amounts of academic and administrative data, yet students, teachers, and administrators often struggle to interpret this information efficiently. Traditional Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) present fragmented interfaces and limited data visualization, reducing transparency and decision-making effectiveness.
This research presents EduNexus, an AI-powered dashboard-driven education management system designed to improve understanding through visual analytics, automation, and intelligent insights. The system integrates Student Management and Learning Management functionalities into a unified platform featuring role-based dashboards, secure authentication, automated report generation, and AI-assisted academic tools.
EduNexus is built using the MERN stack with TypeScript to enhance maintainability and reliability. Authentication is implemented using JWT stored in secure HTTP-only cookies. Background job processing automates report card generation and email distribution, while Nodemailer enables professional communication workflows. Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI provide a modern and accessible interface. Gemini AI combined with AI SDK powers intelligent features including automated exam creation and timetable generation.
Experimental evaluation demonstrates improvements in ad-ministrative efficiency, data accessibility, and user comprehension. The dashboard visualization approach enhances academic transparency, while automation significantly reduces manual workload. The proposed system represents a scalable and secure solution for modern educational institutions.},
