abstract = {Agriculture plays a crucial role in the Indian economy; however, farmers often face challenges such as unpredictable weather conditions, crop diseases, improper fertilizer usage, and limited access to timely agricultural information. Existing digital agricultural solutions are frequently difficult to use due to language barriers and low digital literacy among rural farmers. To address these issues, this paper presents AgriSaathi: The Smart Farmer AI Voice Assistant, an AI-powered web application designed to provide intelligent agricultural assistance through voice-based interaction.
The proposed system integrates Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision technologies to assist farmers in making informed decisions. The application offers crop recommendations based on soil and weather conditions, fertilizer suggestions, crop disease detection through image analysis, and real-time weather updates. Additionally, it includes an AI chatbot capable of answering agricultural queries in a simple and user-friendly manner. To improve accessibility, the system supports voice interaction in Marathi and English, enabling farmers to communicate naturally and receive responses in their preferred language.
The proposed solution aims to bridge the gap between modern agricultural technologies and rural farming communities by delivering accurate, real-time, and language-friendly assistance. By enhancing decision-making capabilities and promoting smart farming practices, AgriSaathi has the potential to improve agricultural productivity, reduce crop losses, and contribute to sustainable agricultural development.},
