  • Abstract:
  • This paper provides a rigorous examination of the Law of Similia (Similia Similibus Curentur), the foundational therapeutic pillar of homeopathic medicine. It traces the concept from its ancient cross-cultural origins through Samuel Hahnemann's systematic empirical formulation to the internal philosophical debates of the 19th century. Furthermore, this review explores contemporary biophysical and pharmacological models such as the drug rebound effect, cellular thermodynamic shifts, and receptor site modulation that offer modern scientific frameworks for this therapeutic phenomenon.
