  • Abstract:
  • The purpose of the study was to assess and compare sports competitive anxiety among National-Level Athletes and National-Level Para Athletes. 20 participants, comprising 10 National-Level Athletes and 10 National-Level Para Athletes age group between 18 to 25 were selected for the study. Sports Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT) developed by Martens (1977) was used to measure competitive anxiety. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and an independent samples t-test. The results revealed that National-Level Athletes demonstrated significantly higher competitive anxiety scores (21.80 ± 4.02) compared to National-Level Para Athletes (15.60 ± 4.14). The obtained t-value (3.396) was significant at the 0.05 level (p = 0.003). The findings indicate a significant difference in sports competitive anxiety between the two groups.
