        abstract = {This research focused on the formulation of fast dissolving oral film containing extract of Syzygium aromaticum to treat pain in teeth. The extract of Syzygium aromaticum was formulated as film by solvent casting method using various polymer like pectin. Polyethylene glycol as plasticiser. Vanillin as flavouring agent & mannitol is a sweetener. This idea of quick dissolving dosage form has gained popularity as a new delivery method. By reducing dosing frequency. This approach will give better bioavailability optimal stability. It will also avoid first fast metabolism of medicine. From the above result it is evident that the developed formulation can be an innovative dosage form to improve the drug delivery, onset of action, additionally it will increase patient compliance. Oro dispersible is the term referred to dosage form which disperse into mouth i.e. oral cavity. The time required to disintegrate should be no more than 3 minutes.
