  • Abstract:
  • Fraxidin is a natural and synthetic Modified compound it is uses only research purpose with promising antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Its poor water solubility and limited skin penetration reduce its therapeutic effectiveness when applied top layer of the skin. This study aims to develop a Fraxidin loaded nano emulsion gel to enhance drug solubility, skin permeation, and antimicrobial activity. The nano emulsion gel will be prepared using suitable oils, surfactants, and co-surfactants, followed by integration into a Carbopol gel base. The formulation will be evaluated for particle size, pH, viscosity, drug content, spread ability, in vitro drug release, in-vivo skin permeation, stability, and antimicrobial activity against common Skin-infecting microorganisms. The developed nano emulsion gel is usual to show improved skin penetration, sustained drug release, enhanced antimicrobial efficacy, and good stability. The developed formulation shows potential as a topical drug delivery system for the treatment of microbial skin infections.
