As AI increasingly participates in decision-making, creative production, emotional interaction, and knowledge generation, traditional existential questions concerning identity, freedom, authenticity, and the meaning of life have acquired renewed significance. Existential literary criticism, grounded in the philosophical works of thinkers such as Søren Kierkegaard, Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, and Simone de Beauvoir, offers a valuable framework for interpreting these emerging realities. This article explores the intersection between Artificial Intelligence and existential literary criticism by examining how AI challenges conventional understandings of human consciousness, agency, morality, and creativity. Through an analysis of selected literary texts alongside contemporary AI narratives, the paper argues that the digital age demands a reimagining of existential concepts rather than their abandonment. While AI possesses remarkable computational intelligence, existential philosophy reminds us that authentic existence is rooted in lived experience, emotional depth, ethical responsibility, and freedom of choice. Ultimately, the article contends that literature remains an essential medium through which humanity can negotiate its evolving relationship with intelligent machines while preserving the distinctly human quest for meaning.},
