abstract = {Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a significant driver of change in modern organizations, and its influence on Human Resource Management (HRM) is both broad and deepening. This study examines how AI technologies – including machine learning, predictive analytics, chatbots, and workflow automation – are reshaping core HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning. Adopting a descriptive research design, primary data were collected from 100 respondents (HR professionals, employees, and managers) through a structured questionnaire, and were supplemented with secondary data drawn from academic journals, industry reports, and professional publications. The findings indicate that a large majority of respondents are aware of AI applications in HR, that recruitment is the function most visibly transformed by AI-enabled screening and candidate matching, and that AI adoption is associated with faster hiring, improved decision-making, and stronger employee engagement. At the same time, data privacy, implementation cost, limited technical expertise, and employee resistance remain persistent challenges. The study concludes that AI is unlikely to replace HR professionals; rather, it is redefining their role, freeing them from routine administrative work so that they can act as strategic partners in organizational growth. Recommendations for responsible and effective AI adoption in HR are proposed.},
