  • The Busbar Trunking System (BBT) is a modern electrical power distribution system widely used in industrial, commercial, and high-rise buildings. It has several advantages over conventional cable systems, including compact design, easy installation, improved safety, lower voltage drop, and better reliability. This review paper provides an overview of the history, construction, working principle, types, advantages, limitations, and recent developments of BBT. It also highlights future opportunities, such as smart monitoring and IoT-based maintenance, making BBT a reliable and efficient solution for modern power distribution
