  • Abstract:
  • Job Satisfaction plays an important role in employee or workers life. A satisfied worker or employee may be a productive worker. Job satisfaction reflects the employees or workers overall feelings about his/her job. It is a measure of an employee's overall contentment, enjoyment, and fulfillment derived from their work. The present study attempts to construct a Job Satisfaction Scale for School Teachers (JSSST). Psychometric properties of the scale were calculated. Split half coefficient of reliability was found to be 0.73. The present scale was validated with Teacher Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (TJSQ) (Lester, 1984) and a correlation of 0.69 was obtained.
