  • Coal power plants are the major source of the power generation in many industries etc. To study and complete understand of thermal power plant in the industry, various systems in the thermal power plant - boiler system and thermal losses. Surface heat loss in the boiler and boiler blow down are analyzed by practical observations. After analysis the values of the systems are compared with OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) values and try to optimize further by performance improvement, wastage elimination and proper thermal insulations in thermal power plant. There is a chance to improve performance and wastage elimination in following systems.
