Smart Home Automated Control System Using Android Application

Abstract
This article presents a flexible standalone, low cost intelligent smart home security system that basically depends on Android app that communicates with the micro-web server that consists of numerous switching functionalities that can alert user if, sudden temperature changes that can indicate a fire, to the sound and movement than can sense as intrusion. Immediately receive interpretation and act on the alerts wherever we are. Therefore the proposed Arduino Ethernet is used to eradicate the use of a PC (laptop) keeping the cost of the overall process to a minimum at the same time voice activation is integrated for switching functionalities. Devices such as intrusion detection sensors, light switches, flame sensors, power plugs, smoke sensors and sirens were built-in to unit that can show the possibility and efficiency of the proposed smart home security system. The proposed system consists of Android device for displaying status in abnormal situations, sensors and Microcontroller. The proposed system targets at keeping a safe distance of 1m between the environment area to monitor, and user Android mobile. On detection of any abnormality/intrusion the system will alert the users and displays a visual display immediately on the Android device to take immediate action on it
