  • Abstract:
  • UPFC is a FACT device which gives immediate response while a fault or disturbance acts on the transmission line.Conventional UPFC system has its own limitations for controlling the power flow through the line and reactive power compensation provided by it.This paper proposes a comparison of conventional system with UPFC integrated with a voltage source.Hysterisis current control method is adopted for controlling the power flow through transmission line. The paper modeled in SIMULINK/MATLAB platform.
