Abstract
Data deduplication is one of significant data compression techniques for removing duplicate copies of repeating data and has been extensively used in cloud storage to reduce the amount of storage space and save bandwidth. To guard confidentiality of the sensitive data while assisting de-duplication data is encrypted by way of the proposed convergent encryption technique before out sourcing.
