It is capable to run in rough land terrains having obstacles like rocks, sand jumps, logs, steep inclines, mud and shallow water. We have discussed about the steering system of All Terrain Vehicle in this project. The steering system is the most vital element in any automobile. It helps the driver in obtaining complete control on the maneuvering of the vehicle. It can handle the vehicle over the bumps and while the tyres are subjected to extensive forces. It minimizes the driver’s effort and driver’s comfort is also taken into consideration. Ackermann Mechanism is apt for all-terrain vehicle where the maximum speed is 60 KMPH because of the terrain. This geometry ensures that all the wheels roll freely without slipping sideways when they are steered to track a common turn centre.}, keywords = {Steering,All-Terrain Vehicle, Ackermann,Rack & Pinion.}, month = {}, }
