Abstract
In present day, power has become the fundamental need for human life. Theavailabilityanditsconjunctionisregardedastheindexofnationalstandardoflivingin the present day of civilization. Energy is an important input in all sectors of anycountries economy. The objective of this project is to design a setup that leads togeneratingelectricitytheenergywhichisgoingwastewhenhumanclimbthestairs.This human energy is utilizedand converted into electrical energy. Thisgeneratedenergyiscosteffectiveandnon-hazardousforhuman.Powercan be generated through stepping on the stairs, the generated power will be storedandcanbeusedfordomesticpurpose.Toobtaintheabovepurpose,theexperimentalsetup is designed which contains the flexible step, rack, spur gear, bearings, shaft,springsanddynamo.Theworkingprincipleisbasedonlawofenergyi.e.mechanicalenergy is converted into electrical energy.
