  • Abstract:
  • Indian culture is reflected in Sudha Murthy's art. Mahashweta depicts Indian culture's marital pattern in her paintings. Marriage, in Indian tradition, is a union that can never be severed. Throughout her work, Murthy depicts the actual truth of the Indian society's social relationships. It is considered taboo for a woman to be a member of her family's household, as well as that of her husband's. People's ideas may be divided into two camps, as we learn more about Indian culture. Both sexes have distinct needs. "The ancient ideals and beliefs of Indian culture are still alive and well today.'' India's culture is an amalgamation of several civilizations that thrive in the west, but which nevertheless has its roots in the country's ancient traditions and values. As one of the many prolific English-language authors in India, there is a name that doesn't need to be mentioned. Sudha Murthy is an accomplished businesswoman, educator, social worker, and novelist. Mahashweta, the chosen work of this article, has been examined to support the Indian consciousness. Her art captures the essence of what it is to be human in terms of values and beliefs. It has a strong Indian flavour. They serve as a gentle reminder of the human virtues of simplicity, friendliness, altruism, and other acts of compassion that have been largely lost in modern culture. Similarly, the author of Mahashweta examines how a girl's life is ruined by her superstitious beliefs. This presentation is predicated on the assumption that the protagonist's path was altered by the events.
