  • This paper delves into the current status of Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs) in Meghalaya concerning infrastructure and manpower, alongside proposing a plan for initiating an Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) within these institutions. The study evaluates the infrastructure and human resources in the four CTEs, outlining a roadmap to facilitate the integration of ITEP in the standalone CTEs. By addressing the availability of resources and strategic steps for implementation, this research aims to enhance teacher education quality and effectiveness in Meghalaya's educational landscape.
