  • This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal vanishing cream utilizing corn silk (Zea mays) and annatto seeds (Bixa orellana). Corn silk, valued for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and annatto seeds, known for their carotenoids and tocotrienols, were selected for their skin benefits. The cream was formulated using an oil-in-water emulsion technique to achieve a smooth, fast-absorbing texture. Various concentrations of the extracts were tested to optimize the formulation for stability and efficacy. Comprehensive evaluations, including pH, viscosity, spreadability, microbial stability, and sensory properties, were conducted.
