Abstract:
This project examines the rollout and user experience of 5G technology in Coimbatore, a major industrial hub in India, following Airtel's launch of services in January 2023. It aims to gauge residents' awareness and adoption of 5G, assessing key factors such as speed, reliability, and coverage across the city. The study will explore how 5G is influencing daily activities, including mobile browsing, online gaming, and video streaming, as well as its implications for business applications. Additionally, it seeks to identify challenges faced by users in the transition to 5G. The findings will provide valuable insights for telecom service providers to optimize their networks, inform policymakers on infrastructure development, and guide consumers and businesses in leveraging 5G for enhanced efficiency and innovation. Ultimately, this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of how 5G is transforming Coimbatore's technological landscape and affecting residents' live.
