  • This paper presents a QR code-based approach for managing student attendance, aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy in educational settings. Traditional attendance systems are often manual, time-consuming, and susceptible to errors. By utilizing unique QR codes for each student, this system allows for a streamlined and automated attendance process. Upon entering the classroom, students scan their personalized QR codes, which are instantly verified and recorded in a centralized database, capturing essential details like timestamp and student ID. This method not only reduces human error but also enhances classroom management by providing real-time attendance data for faculty and administration. The paper also addresses security measures to prevent attendance manipulation, ensuring the system’s reliability and accuracy. The results indicate that QR code-based attendance systems offer a modern, efficient, and scalable solution for educational institutions seeking to optimize attendance management.
