        abstract = {The used water is now termed as wastewater. It may be either domestic waste water or industrial waste water. The waste water should be treated properly before disposing anywhere to avoid pollution. The waste water is treated using physical, chemical and biological methods, keeping in mind the acceptability and economical viability of the method adopted, any waste can be converted into potable water.
