A total of Fifty-four groundwater samples were collected during pre and post monsoon in the NARSAMPET AREA WARANGAL DISTRICT, TELANGANA, INDIA. Chemical analysis was carried out for pH, EC and major ion concentrations. All samples were analyzed in the laboratory as per the standard procedures forhydrochemistry and hence its quality for domestic purposes. The pre monsoon chemical data base is compared with drinking water standards of WHO 1984 the permissible limits of TDS, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cl-, NO3, F, SO4, and HCO3 are exceeding the limits and whereas pH values are within the WHO limits. Similarly, the post monsoon chemical data base is also showing the similar trend in both the seasons for parameters like TDS, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K, Cl-, NO3, F, SO4 and HCO3 indicates the multiple sources of solute dissolved in groundwater.
