        abstract = {ERP is the latest trending technology that is used by all the industries. ERP is the reason for the effective and efficient functioning of all the sectors. An ERP package integrates all the Departments and functionalities of an organization on a single computer that too by using a single database. Data integration leads to the avoidance of data redundancy. There are various types of ERPs available in the market but which ERP is effective to integrate the Departments as well as the functions of an organization to avoid data redundancy, maintain accuracy and latest updating of data, is identified by the research. There are various modules of an ERP available in the market to satisfy the needs of various Departments as each Department has its own functions which are subsequently performed by various modules of an ERP. The research analyzes all over Tamil Nadu how many and which industries are willing to adopt ERP for the first time and willing to change their old software and (new client acquisition) according to their business to improve their functioning and efficiency.
