  • Abstract:
  • In today’s globalized economy, supply chain management (SCM) faces unprecedented challenges from economic, geopolitical, and environmental disruptions. The COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, has emphasized the need for supply chains to evolve from cost-focused models to resilience-oriented strategies. This research explores the role of emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT)—in fortifying supply chains against disruptions while maintaining efficiency. Through a synthesis of recent literature and case studies, this study assesses the impact of these technologies on supply chain resilience and agility. Findings suggest that a strategic integration of these advanced tools significantly enhances transparency, responsiveness, and operational efficiency, though industry-specific considerations remain essential for optimal outcomes. The research provides actionable insights and recommendations for companies aiming to develop robust, agile, and sustainable supply chains capable of withstanding future challenges.
