It is also used for the reflux oesophagitis and duodeneal ulcers. pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes. Since scientific data have highlighted that pantoprazole is taken to prevent and treat stomach ulcers and sometimes, pantoprazole is taken for a rare condition caused by a tumour in the pancreas or gut called zollinger – Ellison syndrome.
