  • Abstract:
  • Pervious concrete is an innovative construction material designed to support sustainable urban development by improving water conservation and stormwater management. Unlike conventional concrete, its porous structure allows rainwater to seep through, reducing surface runoff, minimizing flooding risks, and replenishing groundwater levels. This paper explores the composition, benefits, and real-world applications of pervious concrete, emphasizing its role in green infrastructure. By addressing environmental concerns such as urban flooding and water scarcity, pervious concrete presents a promising solution for creating more resilient and eco-friendly cities.
