Data was collected through a standardized questionnaire administered to IT professionals in Chennai. The findings provide valuable insights for employers, emphasizing the importance of fostering employee engagement to enhance OCB and, consequently, improve workplace culture and organizational efficiency. This study not only offers a deeper understanding of the interplay between employee engagement and OCB in the IT sector but also discusses its limitations and suggests future research directions.
