  • Abstract:
  • Cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, characterized by the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells. The complexity of cancer lies in its diverse types, genetic mutations, and ability to evade the immune system, making treatment particularly challenging. Over the years, advancements in medical research have led to a wide range of treatment strategies, including surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted drug therapy. Each approach varies depending on the cancer type, stage, and individual patient response. Recent developments in personalized medicine and molecular diagnostics have significantly improved the precision and effectiveness of treatment. Moreover, immunotherapy and gene editing technologies such as CRISPR offer promising avenues for future cancer therapies. This abstract outlines the current understanding of cancer biology and highlights the evolution and future prospects of treatment methods aimed at improving patient outcomes.
