  • Abstract:
  • The phrase "Google it" has become commonplace in today's connected world. But in many Indian villages, the internet is still a stranger. The rural-urban digital divide isn't just a tech issue—it’s a development issue. This paper explores how India's rural landscapes are slowly transforming with digital interventions, what’s still holding them back, and how we can ensure that no village is left offline. The aim is to reimagine IT not as a luxury but as a lifeline for rural development.
