  • The platform of communication in diverse fields is media reaching millions of people with information in a fastest way possible. Social media happened to be the fastest platform of communication in the 21st century. In the field of politics globally, nationally and locally social media is used to disseminate information. In India too the public are connected to politics through social media from getting information on politics to sharing their aspirations with their representatives. The study discusses on political discourse and participation in politics through social media and the challenges and opportunities in use of social media regarding politics.
