A Comprehensive Study on Reducing Radiation and Contrast in Protocol- CT Aortography

  • Unique Paper ID: 185833
  • PageNo: 3241-3256
  • Abstract:
  • Background: Computed Tomography Aortography (CTA) is indispensable for evaluating aortic pathologies such as aneurysms and dissections. However, conventional protocols require high radiation exposure and large volumes of iodinated contrast, posing risks of cancer and contrast-induced nephropathy. Optimized low-dose and low-contrast strategies supported by iterative reconstruction may mitigate these risks.
