abstract = {School teachers handle various other duties while in service in addition to teaching. Female teachers also handle house-hold chores. They undergo work pressure and stress, in turn face health problems. They need to adopt some relief techniques to manage issues of work pressure and stress. Simple yoga practices like, focussed physical postures, systematic breathing techniques, involved meditation practices clubbed with organised life style can give them relief. This pilot study with 19 BBMP school teachers drawn at random participated in two batches of 45 minutes online spread over 45 days. Data recorded and analysed for assessing General Health Scores (GHS) through a rating scale based self-assessment questionnaire, showed highly significant pre and post data differences (p<0.001). GHS has increased from 50% to 83% thus encouraging a detailed large scale study. Body Mass Indices (BMI) has also shown slight increase (p=0.05) in respect of females. Blood Pressure variations were found in-significant.},
