  • Abstract:
  • Inclusive education is pivotal to unleash the full potential of India’s human resources for inclusive and equitable development. It is inevitable for skills, training, innovation and critical thinking to transform India into a knowledge society. This paper analyzes the chronic issue of social exclusion in the Indian education system. It emphasised marginalised groups such as SCs, STs, Muslims, Women, and Divyang children. Despite various policy interventions, disparities in access quality education and outcomes prevail among these groups. This discussion traverses how these exclusions impede India’s transition to a knowledge-based economy. The Authors accentuated inclusive policies and equitable resource allocation to ensure quality education for all by using secondary data and literature
