Healing Architecture through Inclusive Design

  • Abstract:
  • Healing Architecture focuses on creating built environments that support physical recovery, psychological comfort, and emotional well-being. However, healing environments often fail when they exclude persons with disabilities, elderly users, or individuals with diverse sensory and cognitive needs. Inclusive Design ensures accessibility, dignity, and participation for all users by integrating diverse needs from the earliest design stages. This research paper examines Healing Architecture through the lens of Inclusive Design and argues that true healing can only be achieved when spaces are universally accessible and experientially supportive.
