  • Abstract:
  • Indole derivatives, particularly 3-acetylindoles, are an important class of heterocyclic compounds with diverse pharmacological activities. In this study, a series of novel 3-acetylindole derivatives were rationally designed and synthesized using an efficient synthetic protocol under optimized reaction conditions, affording the target compounds in good to excellent yields. The structures of the synthesized derivatives were confirmed through spectroscopic analyses, including 1H NMR and GC-MS. The synthesized compounds were further evaluated for their biological activities using standard in vitro assays. Several derivatives exhibited significant biological activity, indicating that the substitution pattern on the indole nucleus plays a crucial role in modulating activity. These findings suggest that the synthesized 3-acetylindole derivatives may serve as promising lead compounds for further pharmacological and drug development studies.
