  • Abstract:
  • Black turmeric (Curcuma caesia Roxb.) has emerged as a potent botanical ingredient in dermatological formulations due to its rich phytochemical profile and therapeutic properties, to study the benefits of biological active curcumin caesia, two Oil in water O/W cream formulations were prepared. One with 5 % curcumin caesia SLN which is extracted in 95 % ethanol and another without active is prepared to study physicochemical parameters, stability, microbial test and efficacy of cream formulation prepared with SLN of curcumin caesia extract. This research deliberate in detail design of formulation, process of manufacturing, test parameters and stability at various climatic conditions to stabilize cream formulation and profit desired benefits. The improvement in skin benefits like anti-ageing, antioxidant, moisturising properties can be further evaluation by in-vitro analysis
