abstract = {Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a complex endocrine and metabolic disorder commonly affecting women of reproductive age, characterized by ovulatory dysfunction, hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries. Current allopathic treatments are often associated with side effects and limited long-term effectiveness, encouraging the exploration of herbal alternatives. This study focuses on the formulation and therapeutic potential of a polyherbal vati consisting of Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia), Gokharu (Tribulus terrestris), and Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). These medicinal plants are known for their synergistic properties, including hormonal balancing, anti-androgenic activity, antioxidant action, and reproductive health improvement. The objective of this research is to evaluate the pharmacological relevance of these herbs in managing PCOS symptoms such as insulin resistance, menstrual irregularity, ovarian dysfunction, acne, hirsutism, and stress-related hormonal imbalance. The formulation may serve as a promising natural therapy with fewer side effects, improved patient compliance, and better long-term health outcomes in women suffering from PCOS.},
