abstract = {Obesity and overweight are rising global health challenges that have increased interest in complementary and alternative therapies, including herbal products. This review synthesizes current knowledge on phytochemicals and herbal agents with reported anti-obesity effects, discusses formulation strategies (dosage forms, extraction and standardization approaches, advanced delivery systems), and presents considerations for quality control, safety/toxicity, and regulatory compliance. Practical example formulations (capsule, tea sachet, functional beverage) are proposed along with analytical and stability testing recommendations. Gaps in clinical evidence, pharmacokinetic data, and regulatory harmonization are identified and priorities for future research are proposed.},
