abstract = {Employee engagement has emerged as one of the most critical determinants of organizational success in today’s dynamic and competitive business environment. Engaged employees demonstrate higher levels of commitment, motivation, productivity, innovation, and organizational citizenship behavior, which collectively contribute to enhanced organizational performance. As organizations increasingly recognize human capital as a strategic asset, fostering employee engagement has become a priority for improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and long-term sustainability. This study systematically reviews the existing literature on the relationship between employee engagement and organizational performance by synthesizing theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and contemporary organizational practices. The review examines the key drivers of employee engagement, including leadership, organizational culture, communication, rewards and recognition, career development, employee well-being, and work-life balance. It also explores the mechanisms through which employee engagement influences organizational outcomes such as productivity, profitability, employee retention, innovation, service quality, and customer loyalty. Despite the substantial benefits associated with employee engagement, organizations continue to face challenges in maintaining high engagement levels due to changing workforce expectations, remote work environments, technological disruption, and economic uncertainty. The study concludes that organizations adopting comprehensive employee engagement strategies supported by effective leadership and inclusive organizational cultures are better positioned to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The findings provide valuable insights for managers, researchers, and policymakers seeking to strengthen organizational performance through evidence-based employee engagement practices.},
