To enhance operational excellence and sustainability, power sector is undergoing a transformative shift driven by Digitalization & Automation. The prime objective of this paper is to explore strategic execution of innovative technologies, focusing to enhance vital Key Performance Indicators (KPI) like efficiency, reliability, safety, security etc. Through inclusive analysis and extensive study of digitalization initiatives such as AI/ML based projects to enhance safety & performance, Physical Security, Authorized operation for critical process, Safety Monitoring, Fire System Surveillance, CCTV Surveillance, Predictive Operation & Defensive Action (ProDA), Advance Data Analysis & integration to avoid generation loss. Holistic study has been conducted for scalable digital innovative initiatives. The study is based on investigation from leading power generating units, indicating successful digital transformation shifts and mitigates challenges. Innovative Digital transformation not only improve operational efficiency but also enhance safety, security and other crucial KPIs. The paper further proposes a framework for evaluating change management, workforce future readiness, digital maturity & cyber security compliance. Eventually, the study determines that Digitalization is not simply a technological upgrade but a strategic enabler for excellence. It is an inclusive approach that includes technology, people and process to revolve the full potential of Digital Transformation in Power Sector.},
