        abstract = {This dissertation investigates the effectiveness of AI-enabled sustainability nudges in influencing hotel guest behavior toward more sustainable practices, addressing the pressing issue of enhancing environmental sustainability within the hospitality sector. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study analyzes guest responses to various AI-driven nudges, such as personalized reminders and real-time feedback on resource consumption, to assess their impact on behavioral changes regarding energy and water use, as well as waste reduction. Findings indicate that these interventions significantly improve guests' engagement in sustainable practices, resulting in a measurable decrease in resource consumption and a heightened awareness of environmental issues.
