Abstract
Bimetallic tin vanadium metal oxide were synthesized by simple sol-gel method and characterized by different instrumental techniques. The material has an ion exchange capacity of 1.01 meqg-1 and carried out different metal ions distribution study. The material has high removing ability towards lead and cadmium metal ions from aqueous solutions. Synthetic binary separation of lead and cadmium ions was carried out. The material has sensing ability to detect 300ppm level phenol from aqueous solution and can be regenerated the material.
