A high proportion of electricity revenue is lost to power stealing, incorrect meter reading and charge, and reluctance of shoppers towards paying electricity bills on time. important amount of revenue losses square measure typically reduced by pattern paid Energy Meters. A paid energy meter permits power utilities to assemble energy bills from the patrons before the usage of power by delivering alone the most quantity as what has been bought. This paper suggests a paid energy meter behaving style of a paidtransportable. The meter contains a paid card analogous to mobile SIM card. The paid card communicates with the power utility pattern mobile communication infrastructure. Once the paid card is out of balance, the customer load is disconnected from the utility provide by the contactor. the power utility can recharge the paid card remotely through mobile communication supported shopper requests. a previous charge is bound to try and do away with the problems of unpaid bills and human error in meter readings, thereby ensuring even revenue for the utility. The planned paid meter is enforcedduring a code model and Matlab has been used for simulation.}, keywords = {Prepaid electric energy meter }, month = {}, }
