Abstract
Banks are most important components of any financial sector. Some of the ratios which are used to evaluate the financial performance of banks are return on net worth, return on assets, return on equity, return on investment, operating income, earnings before interest and taxes, net asset value, etc. Return on investment indicates how effectively a bank manages their average investment so as to contribute its impact on the overall profitability. The findings revealed on average, return on investment of Private Bank scores lowest, then, scores Public Sector Bank, and Foreign Bank scores the highest.
