Abstract
A mutual fund is an investment cycle, which pools money from investors with the common investment objectives and those investments are made by the asset management company. Mutual fund gives the better returns than fixed deposits, gold, savings accounts and etc. ETF is the security that takes the money from the lots of people to buy the different types of stocks. This paper is an empirical study of the performance of exchange traded funds since the period of 2018-2021. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the performance of ETF funds. The study examined three parameters: tracking error, active returns and Jensen's alpha. The analysis shows that tracking error is much higher for ETFs so the ETFs performing better in the market. And in this paper the data has been collected from the secondary sources.
