Either it is living thing or any machine; they required energy for their proper operation. There are two types of energy sources i.e. renewable and nonrenewable resources. The nonrenewable resources are limited in nature. They will be ended from the earth after a certain period of time. Thus it is very necessary to invent the other renewable energy resources. Generally in automobiles whenever the brakes are applied the vehicle comes to a halt and the kinetic energy gets wasted due to friction in the form of kinetic energy. The purpose is to utilize the kinetic energy of a running wheel of the vehicle. The kinetic energy (i.e. mechanical energy) is converted into electrical energy (i.e. electricity) by using dynamo. This electricity is stored in the battery bank and use for various purposes. When the brakes of vehicle are applied through the brake pedal, it retards the motion of the moving wheel by friction surface of the brake pads. Due to the friction there is some heat generated which is lost in the environment by the wheel surface. This lost energy can be regained with the help of the regenerative braking system.
