Multiple attributes decision making (MADM) based handover algorithms are able to suggest optimum network among the available networks with requisite services. Context attributes of available networks varies dynamically with the movement of user and this necessitate the inclusion of location updates of user. In this paper movement aware handover algorithm has been designed with vector normalized preferred performance based VIKOR method (MV-VPP). Four simulation scenarios have been designed to analyze the performance of MV-VPP in four traffic classes.
